Dear Parents,
Below you will find important information regarding preparing your child for their First Reconciliation this year.

Because of our inability to gather in large groups and our desire/need to maintain social distancing when possible, it was decided not to have First Reconciliation in the regular format. (large group gathering with multiple priests). Instead, the date for First Reconciliation is open ended and will be left up to your family to decide when will be the right time (between now and February 28) to celebrate this sacrament.

In recognition that parents are the primary educators of their children in matters of faith, whether they attend our parish school or are in our Youth Formation program, I will make sure that you receive all of the support materials you need in order to prepare them properly.

I am excited about the materials that we are using this year. The Blessed series from Dynamic Catholic has been highly acclaimed, is beautifully illustrated and has some awesome and engaging videos to go along with the material. I believe that you will find it to be a great help for your child and your family's journey to experiencing the great sacrament of Reconciliation.

On Monday, December 14, materials for St. Elizabeth school students will be sent home and for Youth Formation/RE students you will be able to pick the materials up in the Church Gathering Area.
