Holy Orders

Through our baptism, we share in the common priesthood of Jesus Christ; however, some men are called to a ministerial priesthood to serve the Church and build up the common priesthood. These men participate in the mission of the Church as bishops, priests, and deacons. It is God who calls men to this ministry and provides them with the graces to participate in the one priesthood of Jesus Christ through teaching, divine worship, Church leadership, and service to the faithful.

CATHOLICISM SERIES

Explore aspects of our Faith while seeing different cultures and places around the globe that contribute to the beauty and universality of the Church. Meet every Thursday, April 26 through June 28, in the Mother Teresa room. Morning session at 10:00 am; evening session at 7:00 pm. Childcare available in the nursery.

Anointing of the Sick, May 19 & 20

Anyone seriously ill, scheduled for surgery or suffering the burdens and infirmities of advanced age is invited to be anointed at the 5:00 Mass Saturday May 19 or 5:00 Sunday May 20. Only those who preregister and are seated in the reserved section at the front of church will be anointed at these Masses. Please call the office at 432-0268 to preregister. If you wish to be anointed but are unable to do so at these Masses, please contact the parish office to schedule an appointment for anointing at another time.
