Eucharistic Ministers Main Page

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist is one of the most visible ministries in the parish. These commissioned parishioners assist the priest in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. They also greet and welcome those attending Mass, and purify the chalices and patens used in the service.

All ministers must have training prior to being able to serve. Most ministers indicate their willingness to serve by filling out a Time and Talent volunteer form on Stewardship Weekend, held in the spring. Training for ministers is done several times each year in order to accommodate new parishioners and those unable to attend training in the spring.

CATHOLICISM SERIES

Explore aspects of our Faith while seeing different cultures and places around the globe that contribute to the beauty and universality of the Church. Meet every Thursday, April 26 through June 28, in the Mother Teresa room. Morning session at 10:00 am; evening session at 7:00 pm. Childcare available in the nursery.

Anointing of the Sick, May 19 & 20

Anyone seriously ill, scheduled for surgery or suffering the burdens and infirmities of advanced age is invited to be anointed at the 5:00 Mass Saturday May 19 or 5:00 Sunday May 20. Only those who preregister and are seated in the reserved section at the front of church will be anointed at these Masses. Please call the office at 432-0268 to preregister. If you wish to be anointed but are unable to do so at these Masses, please contact the parish office to schedule an appointment for anointing at another time.
