Eucharistic Ministers Main Page
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist is one of the most visible ministries in the parish. These commissioned parishioners assist the priest in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. They also greet and welcome those attending Mass, and purify the chalices and patens used in the service.
All ministers must have training prior to being able to serve. Most ministers indicate their willingness to serve by filling out a Time and Talent volunteer form on Stewardship Weekend, held in the spring. Training for ministers is done several times each year in order to accommodate new parishioners and those unable to attend training in the spring.
Please contact the parish office or ministry heads John and Janet Enrietto, 260-396-2579 with questions about this ministry.

Ushers Main Page
Ushers are needed during each Mass every weekend of the year, as well as at special liturgies. They help parishioners find seating during crowded Masses, pass the collection baskets for the offertory and special collections, arrange for the gifts to be brought to the altar and handle many more behind the scenes tasks. Three ushers are usually assigned for each service, more during Christmas and Easter services.
You may volunteer to become an usher by filling out a Time and Talent form on Stewardship weekend in the spring. Training is typically provided in the spring, and at other times of the year as needed.

Sacristan Main Page
Many of us do not see the "behind-the-scenes" tasks that take place in preparation for every Mass here at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish. There is a volunteer parishioner scheduled for every Mass who sets up and prepares the hosts and the wine for Communion, sets up the chalice and trays at the altar and assures that everything is in place for the Euchaistic celebration.
Special training is needed to be a Sacristan. Please contact ministry head Mark Andorfer, 436-1493, with questions or to volunteer for this ministry.
Communion to the Homebound
Eucharistic Ministers to the Sick receive the consecrated Host at the end of Mass and take it to the homebound, hospitalized, or members of the parish in local nursing homes. These Ministers of the Eucharist must receive special training. The minister shares Scripture, prays with the person receiving, and often with their family, and gives him or her Communion.
Volunteers typically indicate their willingness to serve by filling out a Time and Talent form at Stewardship Weekend in the spring. Special training is provided in the spring or at times as needed.
Please contact Rob Slocum in the parish office, 432-0268, with questions about this ministry, or to arrange for someone to receive the Eucharist.
